Lastly if you know anything about QT Jambi, it too can integrate with OpenGL in some fashion unfamiliar to me. EclipseP5Exporter for Eclipse:Īgain, FengGUI is suppose to have widgets like buttons, scroll bars, and similar already available.
I'm not sure if this next link would be useful at all, but it could possibly export a premade Swing GUI into OpenGL.
SDL AND OPENGL 4.5 INSTALL
I've yet to experiment with it, but it does install easily if you prefer Eclipse as your environment. Visual Swing Designer for Eclipse is relatively new. If unconcerned about performance tweaks, an alternate solution would be going with building a Swing UI and then integrating it with some other API of choice. I have yet to find a "drag and drop" open source functionality for GUIs in OpenGL. I think it's something related to a "widget manipulator." Also, Xith has a decent UI case test where widgets can be placed where ever by dragging items around. Xith in my experience could also do the job. My personal preference would start with for non-game OpenGL software. I found Thingle interesting, yet it may not serve the purpose of quick and easy. I think a number of others can coordinate with JOGL as well. Expect to encounter an involving learning curve with those last two. There are a number of other "game" GUIs as well, which might serve your purposes since and the I think can both integrate well with Swing. I didn't mess with it much how ever nor did I look for a precompiled API library. I recently tried to compile it though and had problems doing so. The first that comes to mind is the one from. I think there are a number you could possibly use that come oriented with.
